stop acting crazy. the kicking, screaming, and rebellion, is not welcomed in this body. this dying flesh is getting on my last nerve. you’re on your last because i’ve mentally flat lined you. guess this is what happens when you’re just a visitor in a strange land. i am undocumented in my body, crying for freedom or relief at the very least. help a sista out with this dying pain. i know you’re not my source to sustain, i crying for more. uplift me from this body of death, but in the meantime i’ll be prophesying my presence and taking as many as i can with me. so ms. estomago, keep doing your thing, because this too shall pass.

Dear Gluten,

You stick! Me and pasta, bread, and the like had a cool relatipnship. Then you started acting funny in my tummy. I don’t like how you blow up and cause me to ache.
I remember the days when I could eat 12 dinner rolls at Thanksgiving, now I’m lucky if I can stomach just one. Pizza is out, spagetti is out, even banana nut muffins are out. And don’t even get me started on how beer makes me feel. No hops, no wheat, no grains.
Call me healthy if you want, I just want to survive through the day.

Today’s word is GRACE! All caps, exclamation point necessary. My grandma mentioned to me one day after feeling distraught about an ill experience that people are funny. It had a good song to go with it too. It really sums up how different people are. Deep down I want to be offended by racist remarks, or ill-mannerisms like releasing sinus congession onto a tissue then not disposing of the infected specimen. Things that I might view as inappropriate, but others don’t.

However, like my aunt says, “I choose to not be offended.” In those times when I want to react in a way I might regret, GRACE is my word. I need grace to overcome welling emotions, because I may be being judgement. Or GRACE to deal with my future interactions with person because maybe they are unaware of the impact they just made.

Sometimes, I want to act real gully, and say the first thing that comes to mind. But that is neither glorifying God nor appropriate in some settings. So, GRACE, I’ll take a hardy handful of that and administer it generously because we all desperately need GRACE.

Why is it such a mystery in knowing how much someone earns?

Today, went well overall. Taking calls and sitting in a chair all day may be really questionable for my hearing and posture. I am grateful to have a job because there are some that do not have that privilege. However corporate america is like a foregin animal, that I am apparently supposed to know about, but I am rather misinformed.

This is the time I wish “Corporate America for Dummies” was published. I guess exclusive circles really never want to reveal their inside information. Maybe that is why income is not disclosed. Or perhaps, this environment was never meant for me to understand because it was not build for me to belong, comprehend, or participate in.

Nevertheless, I am truly appreciative to the trail blazers that trenched through harder circumstances than myself. Which thankfully lead me to this position in the first place.

Let’s just say I desire so much more than this, but it is more than satisfactory for now.
